The AV Tennis Foundation is a nonprofit youth sports development program with an emphasis on tennis. We work alongside the United States Tennis Association (USTA) as a National Junior Tennis and Learning (NJTL) organization to do one thing:

Assist the development of the overlooked or underserved youth in education & tennis in the Antelope Valley.

To sum it up:

We are seeking under represented families and want to support their youth with access to tennis programs and help in school without spending a dollar.

Mentoring

Your child will be assigned to a growing network of coaches and tutors that will also serve as mentors that will work towards making a connection with the youth and building upon values that prioritize education and good standards of well-being. Our main goal is to impact the youth in a positive manner so that they may become successful. We aim to be a factor towards their success in life, however big or small.

We Provide our Youth:

Tennis

Tennis is fun! Tennis is also an individual sport to teach students about putting effort into something and giving it your best shot. It can teach about overcoming obstacles, problem solving, and maintaining a healthy relationship with oneself. These qualities can develop the youth both inside and outside the tennis court. Your child will have access to free weekly group tennis lessons.

Education

We wish to follow in the footsteps of Arthur Ashe, the individual who founded NJTLs and therefore our founding father:

“We must believe in the power of education”.

All youth in our programs will be developed in education as we will provide weekly constructive journaling and wish to expand to eventual tutoring locations.
